Our basement flooring install is just about wrapped up, but the space is now overtaken with all the crap people tend to accumulate in their subterranean spaces. We had an unfinished room at the bottom of the stairs for storing random stuff: patio furniture, power tools, paint cans, gardening tools, etc., but we decided to put down some LVP (luxury vinyl plank) in the space, which meant that we had to move all the crap (ok, some of it is actually useful) to the other basement rooms while the flooring was being done. That's a long-winded way of saying the basement is not yet photo-worthy, despite having some proper flooring and lighting now.
So for now, I'll just share one photo. Our Saltillo stacked Carrera marble tiles have arrived and they'll be installed tomorrow. Here they are in all their majestic, marbley glory. They're destined for the kitchen backsplash - 60 square feet of wall space.
That's it for now! I'll have a proper before and after post once they're up!
