Winter Wonderland

My friends in Ottawa have been boasting (via Facebook) about the unseasonably warm November they're having. I've heard from four different people that the long weekend brought temperatures of 20 C. My dad BBQ'd on Remembrance Day.

As you'll see from the pictures I took at Emma Lake this weekend, it's not 20 C in Saskatchewan. In fact, it was minus 20 C with the windchill in lakeland on Sunday, but we went cross country skiing anyway.

Despite the cold, I feel I traded in 40 extra degrees for a province of pure, unheralded beauty. See for yourself :)
