Gallery Walls Galore

I have my eye on a brilliant Fab.com feature that goes on sale tomorrow.  At the beginning of the week, I received an email with a sneak preview of the sales coming up from Monday through to Friday.  That's when I came across this ingenious idea...

The Picturewall Company creates these simple collections of frames and throws in preview templates - saving you from having to break out the tape measure.  My timing is a little off as I just bought a bunch of various-sized frames at Ikea.  Otherwise, I'd be logging in first thing tomorrow to place an order.  However, if the price is right, I can always find a spot for another cluster of frames in our house.

My Ikea frames have been filled with photos, screen prints and random stuff I found around the house -such as paint chips and magazine covers.  I've laid out all the frames in the spare bedroom, but I have a case of cold feet.  I'm not convinced the order is right, how high or low to hang them, and I'm not sure I'm 100% comfortable putting a bunch of holes in my walls.

That's why I love these Picturewall sets - they'd give me a sense of order and balance.  Although I can't decide if I prefer clean, straight lines or randomness.  A look at my gallery wall Pinterest board clearly shows the competing interests...

Everything in its place

Random loveliness

And a little bit of both...

I had fun viewing all your hanging art collection. I'm currently studying interior design and your photo galleries are giving so much inspiration and idea.
