DIY Patterned Fabric - Apartment Therapy

I've been eagerly checking the mailbox everyday as I'm on the lookout for the stencil I ordered last week.  It hasn't come yet, but in the meantime, I've found another great use for it after I've finished the front window.

Last week Apartment Therapy had a great post about adding a bit of paint and pizazz to plain old curtains using a stencil.

All the materials you need for a bit of DIY drapery

Granted, this would require a lot of patience that I'm not sure I possess.  However, it might be something to keep busy with during my winter hibernation.

*sigh* agreed....so pretty yet so time-consuming!! I think I'd use a much bigger stencil to make it a little less monotonous!
